What is Burp decoder?

Burp decoder transforms encoded strings (url, html, base-64, ASCII-hex, hex, octal, binary, gzip) into hash (SHA-256, SH1-512, SHA, SHA-384, MD5, MD2) in plain text and vice versa. The tool features an intelligent recognition of encoding formats.

How to use Burp Decoder?

From the tab "target > site map", select a query containing encoded data (eg authentication information by htaccess).
Select the portion of text to be deciphered, then from the dropdown list "decode as", select the proper decoding (base64 here) to see the decoded text.
